Michelle and Jayne

Explore & Develop Breakfast Point has been proudly owned and operated by Jayne and Michelle for nearly 20 years. Since opening in 2006, they have established a strong reputation for high-quality early education and care within our community. Jayne and Michelle are deeply committed to providing a nurturing, holistic environment where every child’s wellbeing is prioritised. Their passion for quality education shines through in their hands-on approach, ensuring that each child is supported to develop the confidence, skills and sense of belonging needed for a smooth transition to school and lifelong learning.

Our approach

Since 2006, Explore & Develop Breakfast Point has proudly provided high-quality early childhood education, built on strong partnerships with families and the local community. Our nurturing and inclusive environment values each child’s unique strengths, backgrounds and interests. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our educators offer play-based, responsive learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Children are active participants in shaping our curriculum, supported by thoughtful planning and ongoing family collaboration. We are dedicated to creating a safe, homelike space where children grow in confidence and agency.

  • We only left because we moved and we were honestly in tears on our last day. If we hadn’t moved we never would have left. We could not have asked for better care for our children. Every single educator was kind, caring and deeply considerate and genuinely invested in our boys. The level of commitment to their emotional and intellectual development was incredible and something we will always be grateful for. Our children felt safe, loved and truly known. They were nurtured, supported and encouraged every single day and we always felt complete trust leaving them there which as a parent is everything. They have incredibly low staff turnover, over the 3 years we were there we saw the same faces, so the kids really felt a sense of belonging knowing who would be caring for them, helping that settling process. This daycare set the benchmark for us and nothing will ever quite compare. We will forever be thankful for the role you played in our children’s early years and highly recommend you to any family lucky enough to get a place.

  • The best childcare centre ever! We have been here for close to 6 years and the centre has supported both of our children from when they were a few months old all the way through to graduation. Our children have been given an abundance of love, care and endless support from the amazing educators and staff and it has felt like their second home. The children woke up everyday excited to go to childcare and participate in all the exciting adventures the staff would plan out for them including novel and memorable experiences such as hatching real chickens in class to cool science experiments and yoga classes. We have been so grateful to have found a childcare as wonderful as Explore and Develop Breakfast Point and cannot recommend it enough to anyone in the area who is looking for a trusted centre for their child.

  • My son absolutely adored his educators at this daycare, Miss Maria & Miss Heather, he always went inside smiling and I always had peace of mind dropping him off that he was in good hands. They treated him like family and he was honestly so happy 😀 They communicated well and helped my son thrive. It was honestly such an incredible time, and I didn’t want to leave but unfortunately we moved away from the area. Highly recommend to anyone with little bubs, your little bub will be in the best hands. I can’t speak highly enough of this daycare.

E&D Breakfast point is that strong, beautifully woven set of roots which houses the finest and warmest educators that one can hope for their child. Right from their secure, well lit and clean setting to their switched on and compassionate educators, we are thankful to them for having our kids there over the last few years. Both our children have gone through the rooms and have had the privilege of being welcomed and schooled by the finest set of educators we’ve come across. They say you only realise the true value of anything after it no longer exists in your life and this is true about E&D. We moved houses and had to take the gut wrenching decision of moving daycares too. E&D have spoilt us by setting themselves as the gold standard of early education and they are a class apart in the services and programs they offer. Bilby Group

6 weeks – 2.5 years

We partner closely with families to ensure each child’s unique routines and needs are supported. Our 0–2.5 year old space offers a safe, nurturing and home-like environment where little ones can feel secure and confident. As children begin to experience social group settings, we gently encourage the development of early social skills, language, and independence. Through warm, caring relationships and meaningful experiences, we support each child’s learning journey from the very start.

2 – 3.5 years

Children are welcomed into environments that are stimulating, inviting and thoughtfully challenging. Our play-based approach encourages both individual discovery and group learning, nurturing each child’s curiosity, independence, and social development. We are committed to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, as well as their growing cognitive skills, by providing consistent, caring spaces where they can feel safe and supported. Through daily opportunities for friendship building and positive social interactions, children strengthen their relationships and sense of belonging within our learning community.

Children are welcomed into environments that are stimulating, inviting and thoughtfully challenging. Our play-based approach encourages both individual discovery and group learning, nurturing each child’s curiosity, independence, and social development. We are committed to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, as well as their growing cognitive skills, by providing consistent, caring spaces where they can feel safe and supported. Preschool Room

3 – 6 years

Our preschool program empowers children with the skills and mindset needed for learning beyond Explore & Develop. We provide engaging environments that celebrate individuality and encourage independence, nurturing children’s curiosity and joy for learning. Through play-based experiences, children develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, motor coordination, and emotional and social skills. We also introduce key protective behaviours, supporting each child’s right to feel safe, be heard, and express themselves confidently.

Outdoor Environment

Our outdoor environment is designed to stimulate children’s senses and inspire a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. With two separate play spaces—one for children under 2.5 and one for children over 2.5—we create opportunities for all children to explore, discover, and connect with the natural world in a safe and age-appropriate way. Children enjoy the freedom to investigate, move, and play, building confidence, curiosity, and a love for outdoor learning.

Our outdoor environment is designed to stimulate children’s senses and inspire a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors.     We have had such a wonderful experience at Explore and Develop Breakfast Point. The educators are caring, attentive and genuinely invested in our child's wellbeing and development. Our child is always welcomed warmly and comes home happy, settled and excited to share what they have done during the day. The centre has a lovely, nurturing atmosphere, and we really appreciate the communication and support from the team. We feel very comfortable knowing our child is in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!

    We’ve had such a wonderful experience at explore and develop breakfast point over the years. The educators are absolutely amazing! They are all so attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in the children growth and development! Our daughter has loved her time here, and we couldn’t be happier with the growth and confidence we’ve seen in her. She has made so many special memories with both her friends and educators. We’re incredibly grateful for all the love, care, and support she has received over the years. It has been such a positive and memorable part of her childhood, and we couldn’t recommend this daycare more highly!

    We have had both our children at E&D Breakfast Point from a young age and the second is in preschool. It will be bittersweet as they (and we) have loved having them at E&D. Staff are all excellent and many are long term employees (which is always a great sign!) and so the place a real warm family feel. Food provided is high quality and nutritious and there are excursions throughout the year (everyone knows when they're coming with their bibs and little rope!) which they really benefited from. We couldn't recommenced anywhere higher than E&D for a child's long daycare. My son is excelling in his first year in Kindy which we believe has been assisted by a very solid foundation from preschool at E&D.

    Explore and Develop Breakfast Point has been our favorite place to learn and grow. Our son started when he was 1yrs old and now when he is 4 there is not one day when he is not looking forward to go and see his friends! The educators have been so lovely andnthey helped him grow and be more confident. The management has always been so supportive and kind. The daily updates on Kinderloop are so lovely each day, knowing that my son had a good day, makes our day..Highly recommend this place!Thank you E&D BP⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I’m sad to be writing this review as our time at Explore & Develop BP has come to an end. Our only reason for leaving the centre was due to relocating, and this was by far the hardest part of our move. Our family will be forever grateful for the incredible care and love our boys received at the centre in the 2.5 years they attended. Knowing our children were in the care of such kind, loving and dedicated educators made returning to work and leaving them each day so much easier. The educators truly go above and beyond. They don’t just care for the children—they genuinely love them. They took the time to get to know each of our boys, understanding their personalities, celebrating their milestones, comforting them when they needed reassurance, and making them feel safe, valued and happy every single day. It was so comforting to see the genuine affection they had for our children. The amount of thought, creativity and effort that goes into the daily activities is incredible. Every day was filled with engaging experiences that encouraged learning through play, exploration and imagination. It was clear that everything was carefully planned with the children’s development and happiness in mind. We will always be grateful for the incredible role Explore & Develop BP played in our son’s early years and for the beautiful memories they helped create. One of the most unexpected gifts has been the lifelong friendships he formed—something I never imagined was possible at such a young age. We highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a caring, nurturing and inspiring environment for their children.

Fees & Inclusions

The daily fees for 2026

We are an approved Child Care Subsidy (CCS) service, which means eligible families will receive three days per week of subsidised care.

Use our CCS calculator for an estimate of your individual fees, or contact us and we’ll help you with it.

Our 2026 fees are outlined below. Note these fees are before CCS, which will significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs.

Our service is also eligible for Start Strong Fee Relief, providing a further saving for families of 3- and 4-year-old children, in addition to CCS.

Our daily fee is all-inclusive, covering nutritious meals, snacks and drinks, nappies, wipes, sunscreen, bedding, educational programs and learning materials.
