We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our 56-place Early Education and Care Centre, Explore & Develop Annandale. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an Excellent Service located in the heart of Sydney.
About the role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Work full time, Monday to Friday.
- Lead the development and implementation of a high-quality, play-based curriculum.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support children’s learning, wellbeing and development in line with the EYLF.
- Collaborate with a professional team of educators.
- Actively contribute to the planning cycle, documentation and critical reflection.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent, with at least one year of experience.
- Provisional or full NESA accreditation for NSW applicants.
- Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, Child Protection and CPR certification.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and best practice in early education.
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- A passion for intentional teaching and inquiry-based learning.
